Introduction to Organisational Behaviour

For this class there was a lot of assignments and out of class work to complete. With a Learning contract there was also the weekly tasks which changed each week thus making it hard to keep track of them. One week my group may have done minutes and the next we may have been organising the agenda and activity.

The learning contract was my first ever major assignment that I had to submit for a university class. I found it to be frightening and exciting. It seemed like a huge amount of work at the time, but I felt like I had achieved a lot once I had finished it. I was always nervous when going to this class each week, I had to speak out during class and as I am not a very good public speaker it made me very uncomfortable. Even though it was scary at the time, looking back I can see that it was a very good class to start off my university degree with, it forced to me get to know other students, to make friends and involve me in the university learning style.

What I found to be good with this class was that students were able to interact with other students outside of the degree they were studying. Most of the classes for Information and Knowledge Management are either classes with only IKM students or do not promote group study and teams (Business Stats, Marcoeconomics, etc)
The class was also set up like a business, promoting maturity and cooperation between students. This was a great class for my first year at University.
