Marketing

For Marketing I did not have many assignments to complete. Most of the course was done through the use of online tests and the end of year exam. We did however have to complete a short case studies every 2 weeks, at the end of the semester these all came together to create a larger case study, I do not have part one.

This class I do not see myself using much in my career. Library marketing is not done all that much, and it is usually done by someone who is in the marketing industry, not an information specialist. It was an interesting class, though I found it a little nerve racking at first. The classes/lectures were very big and I did not know many people when I first started. I also had trouble completing some of the online tasks as I did not yet have the internet at home. It was an interesting choice of subject for first semester, first year for my course I felt. I think it would be better as an elective.
