Relational Database Design and Development was mainly group work. We had to create and relational database, plus report on it and cover the design process. At the end we created a users manual individually.
This was a very hard course to learn in. The content was relevant and I found it interesting to create the database and users manual, but the course was badly structured and there was not enough hands on practise with the creation of the database for it to be an affective learning environment.
I feel that I would not have passed this course had it not been for the fact that I had a friend who was familiar with the program and grasped the concepts being presented easily.
